Welcome
Renbukan Martial Arts is a traditional Japanese Budō Dōjō, dedicated to the study of the traditional Martial Arts of Japan.
We offer classes in the Wadō-Ryū school of Karate-Dō and operate as an authorized private study group for the study of Takamura ha Shindō Yōshin Ryū Koryū Jūjutsu.
Our Dōjō was first started in 1997 as the Wa-no-Michi Karate Academy in Brantford, Ontario and later became Renbukan in 2015 in Gores Landing, Ontario. Both of these Dojo are still in operation.
Our chief instructor has been studying and teaching Wadō-Ryū for the last 34 years and has been a student of the Takamura ha Shindō Yōshin Ryū since 2012. We received official sanction from the TSYR Honbu to form a authorized study group in 2016.
We are hosting a 12 week introduction to Self-Defense for Women & Teens Starting January 17, 2024.
